Ride in style with Uber
Ok. So it won’t really make you a rock star or instantly give you that thing called talent. But what Atlanta’s newest car service will give you is a GPS-tracked pickup via your smartphone in a luxury ride of your choosing. Recently launching in Atlanta, Uber is your on-demand private driver. With a simple touch of your smartphone, you can request a pickup from anywhere in the city at anytime. Choose whether you want an SUV or luxury sedan and notifications will be sent to your phone with an ETA and a picture of your driver at the ready to take you to your requested destination. The transaction is paperless and charged to your card on file, with tip included. It’s a little bit more than a taxi and less than renting a limo.
So be prepared to have your picture taken and entertain questions as to what profession you’re in when your driver takes you to the grocery store in one of they’re presidential S-Class Benzes or Escalades. Glasses and swagger not included.
