Atlanta’s Culinary Block Party Returns

So this is what Atlanta tastes like…

Atlanta’s premier food experience returns to Midtown in its 11th year with 80+ restaurant tastings, chef demonstrations, and family fun.

Corner Tavern West Midtown’s New Menu

New gourmet-inspired menu options…from a dive bar?

We’re always a little skeptical when our favorite local watering holes diverge from their usual menu offerings. With regular patrons keeping the lights on and the seats filled, it can be a pretty ballsy move to change items they’ve come to know and love. But Corner Tavern owners Mike and Melanie Rabb don’t seem to have this hang up. Variety is the spice of life, and they’ve taken this mantra full steam ahead when they let the West Midtown Chef Cameron Lukkar run wild with the restaurant’s new menu.

Atlanta Chefs in the City

Wine Tasting and Chef Demo in an Intimate Setting…

Want to enjoy a wine tasting and a cooking demonstration by a well-known chef, right in the middle of…Bloomingdale’s? Who wouldn’t? This fall, Grape Crush Productions and Bloomingdale’s are doing just that.  Sample and learn about wines from all over the world, then sit back and watch a lively demonstration Bloomingdale’s state-of-the-art demo kitchen.

Atlanta Spots to Let it Linger

Do you have to, do you have to let it linger? Why, yes.

While bar-hopping all over town is a noble pursuit with many rewards, it can be just as amusing to nestle into one spot for the night and watch how it morphs over the course of an evening. Efficient partygoers know how to fulfill all their debaucherous needs in one place. Settle in for dinner first, then head over to the party side of the joint and get your groove on. Read on for some one-stop spots for all your entertainment needs.

Double Zero Napoletana

Double Zero Napoletana Pizza

Dolce far niente….while you’re OTP.

Dolce far niente. In Italian, this translates to “the sweetness of doing nothing.” Now, I feel that I am an expert at this, so it’s surprising to me that I’m not actually Italian. This seems to be a way of life that true Italians live by. And why not? Less worry, more pizza I say – and at Double Zero Napoletana, dolce far niente doesn’t seem far from reach.

Ode to the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival

Is it May 2012 yet?

All of us here at eat. drink. repeat. had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, and hope our readers did too. One of us celebrated a birthday, one of us got engaged, and one of us went to quite possibly the best backyard BBQ of their lives (hint: click for the answers). But collectively, we were all disappointed by one realization: there would be no groundhog’s day repeat this weekend. The Atlanta Food & Wine festival had come and gone. Read on for our ode to AF&WF and why you should definitely make plans to be there next year…
