It was only a matter of time before ATL restaurant think tank Fifth Group added delights from the briny deep to its culinary repertoire. With Italian (La Tavola Trattoria), European (Ecco), Mexican (The Original El Taco & Alma Cocina), and Southern (South City Kitchen Vinings & Midtown) offerings already represented, it was a natural progression to develop a concept focused on seafood and global coastal traditions.

Capping off Atlanta Restaurant Weeks 2011 is Midtown Restaurant Week, August 27 – September 4. Thirty-one. Yes. Thirty-one of your favorite Midtown restaurants are slashing prices like car salesmen in chicken suits to showcase specialty three-course menus throughout the week. With menus for $25 and $35 per person, and even lunch menus at select locations, there’s something for everyone.
