_MG_1853It’s no secret that the gang here at EDR loves a good brunch. The landscape of the Atlanta dining scene has morphed to where most of your favorite local haunts are offering the mid-morning mixture of breakfast and lunch in some form or another – on Saturday and Sunday. Egg + Farro at Ladybird Atlanta

Kale + Egg + Farro at Ladybird Atlanta

When you’ve been writing for a food blog as long as we have, you’ll definitely have your fair share of delicious food. But then some of us (cough, me, cough) will have forgotten to exercise and balance it out along the way with healthier food options. So recently, I decided I had to start taking a more holistic approach to wellness in order to improve my well-being. But the part that worried me the most was substituting the decadent (Boeuf Bourguignon) with the practical (kale salads and steamed salmon) and still being able to enjoy my meal. The question became – can food be good for you and delicious? The answer I’m happy to share is yes! Recently, the team here at Eat. Drink. Atlanta restaurants are hip to the groove and, as such, are serving up equal portions of killer beats and gourmet treats. Read on to find the best places to keep your head bobbing and your mouth watering…

Cafe 640

A change in name, not a change in quality…

Cafe di Sol may be called Cafe 640 now, but thankfully, you’ll still find the same great food and drinks and what is quite possibly one of the best patios for people watching in Atlanta. The view of N. Highland Avenue is a steady stream of joggers, moms pushing babies in strollers, droves of cyclers, and a handsome hipster or two headed to the art gallery next door.

Mardi Gras Food and Fun…Atlanta Style

Let the good times roll…

If you can’t make it down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, have no fear. We have plenty of ways to celebrate right here in Atlanta. From great restaurants with a flare for Louisiana fare to raucous all-day parties, it’s easy to find some sinful debauchery to get into.  After all, Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday.  Let’s get fat, y’all.
