Photo Recap: Atlanta Food and Wine Festival 2014

And just like that, it was over…

Yes, the 4th Annual Atlanta Food and Wine Festival came like a thief in the night – robbing us of our culinary innocence and leaving us wanting more.

Say “Cheese”

Everyone in Atlanta (and beyond) knows all about Tim Gaddis…or do they? I had the opportunity to sit down with everyone’s favorite Cheesemonger from Star Provisions for a Q&A session to find out everything from how he got his start in the business (did you know he was a police officer first?), to his current favorite cheeses, and a preview into what he has in store for the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, which comes to town May 30 – June 2, 2013.

Wake Up to Wild Turkey American Honey

Bourbon. It’s what’s for…breakfast?

We love bourbon here at EDR. This is nothing new. So while perusing Twitter recently, I came across a tweet from our friends at Wild Turkey asking, “How do you prefer your bourbon? In cocktails or on the rocks?” Delightfully retweeting that we love it both ways, it got me thinking about the new renaissance of cocktails using bourbon.

Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ Festival

Brew it. Taste it. Sip it. Pork it.

Yes. You’ve officially died and gone to heaven. Or at least how I picture it would be. If you will, envision a bright light sweeping over you as you’re greeted by angels with horns filled with crispy bacon, ice cold beer, and stiff bourbon. Well get ready to enjoy this out-of-body experience as the Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival soo wees into Atlantic Station on Saturday, March 3rd.

Ode to the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival

Is it May 2012 yet?

All of us here at eat. drink. repeat. had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, and hope our readers did too. One of us celebrated a birthday, one of us got engaged, and one of us went to quite possibly the best backyard BBQ of their lives (hint: click for the answers). But collectively, we were all disappointed by one realization: there would be no groundhog’s day repeat this weekend. The Atlanta Food & Wine festival had come and gone. Read on for our ode to AF&WF and why you should definitely make plans to be there next year…
