Everyone in Atlanta (and beyond) knows all about Tim Gaddis…or do they? I had the opportunity to sit down with everyone’s favorite Cheesemonger from Star Provisions for a Q&A session to find out everything from how he got his start in the business (did you know he was a police officer first?), to his current favorite cheeses, and a preview into what he has in store for the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, which comes to town May 30 – June 2, 2013.

Do you like Craft Beer? Do you like Salsa? Do you like Hip-Hop? Yeah, exactly! High Gravity Cinco takes place at the Georgia Freight Depot – a HUGE 25,000 sq. ft. venue featuring indoor and outdoor spaces for you to sip in fresh air or bask in chilling air conditioning.

Ladies. You’ve had a long week. Non-stop, on the go, hustling and bustling, you’ve accomplished more in one week than most do in a month. In between soccer practice for the kids, cooking gourmet meals for the family, and ruling the boardroom at the company——all while making sure that your make-up is flawless and no hair is out of place, you deserve a reward. You deserve…something special.

Ok. So you’ve got your Halloween costume all set. Guys, you’ve grown out your beard all month in preparation to be Wolverine…or maybe Alan from The Hangover. Ladies, you’ve gone to great lengths to make a “sexy” version of every profession and monster known to man. You deserve a great Halloween-inspired cocktail. And we’ve got just the trick…or treat using one of our favorite new vodkas, Vixen Vodka. Boo-yah!

Another weekend has come and gone, but what separates this weekend from the last, is the lack of a local food festival to keep our stomachs satiated. Yes, Taste of Atlanta helped us ring in the arrival of October, fall weather and the holiday season just around the corner. So for those looking to relive the experience, or a reason to try it out for the first time when it returns next year, read on for your 2012 festival recap, and hope to see you all October 2013 for the 12th annual Taste of Atlanta!

When our go-to beer consigliere Ale Sharpton of Cruisin’ for a Brewsin told us he was curating a one-of-a-kind beer feast, we could barely hold in our excitement. If you know Ale, you know he’s super passionate and knowledgeable about all things beer, so we knew off the rip that the idea would be best described in a word he often holds sacred for his favorite brews…gangsta.
