The only thing soft about Grindhouse’s soft opening on Monday night, was that creamy pimento cheese…because everything else was hardcore. They really do make a killer burger. Oh, and that pimento cheese — it’s perfect — the right texture of cheese, small chunks of peppers, the perfect amount of spice, and still creamy and gooey.
The expanded menu offers several new burger styles including the “Yankee Style” burger topped with bleu cheese spread, thick cut bacon, lettuce, and grilled onions. And don’t get us started on the milkshakes. The new location boasts a milkshake list of the boozy variety, including the “Monkey Wrench,” a handspun blend of chocolate ice cream, peanut butter, banana, malt, and Bacardi rum. Not in the mood for a milkshake? Unlike the original location, there’s plenty of beer and wine at the new spot. They are officially open now, so go get your burger on!
