A Dinner of Titanic Proportion at Rí Rá Irish Pub

Eat like the king of the world…

You are invited to attend a Titanic-themed dinner with Irish Chef & Author Judith McLoughlin as Rí Rá Irish Pub celebrates the 100th anniversary of this famous ship. Join in the festivities with traditional Irish fare, music and dancing.
Born and raised in Ulster, a county in Northern Ireland, Chef Judith is the author of The Shamrock and Peach Cookbook. Judith’s husband Gary, also from Ulster, is the co-author, photographer, designer and lucky taste tester. Judith, Gary, Donal O’Gallachoir, myself and several guests that accompanied Judith on an exclusive Culinary Tour of Ireland enjoyed an evening in the McLoughlin home.
During my career as a Food and Beverage Executive, I was fortunate to dine in elegant restaurants, private clubs and alongside talented chefs in the kitchen. Recently I experienced an opportunity which may never pass my way again; I was invited to the home of a chef for dinner. Thank you to Chef Judith Johnston McLoughlin and her husband Gary McLoughlin for their gracious invitation, salt-of-the-earth hospitality and one gorgeous evening.
Chef Judith states the beauty of Irish cooking is simplicity and fresh ingredients of the highest quality straight from the farm. I couldn’t agree with her more and had to take her cookbook home with me that evening after experiencing the best Irish food of my life.
Judith will be your host at Rí Rá Irish Pub in Atlanta who will be partnering with Kerrygold and The Irishman Whiskey for an evening to remember. The great liner was built in Belfast, Ireland and is entwined in Irish folklore. Dine on the original parquet floor salvaged from the Drawing Offices of the Harland and Wolff Shipyard where the great ship RMS Titanic was designed. Call 404-477-1700 to reserve your spot on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 7:00pm with 5 Courses for only $40.00. BRILLIANT!
